We can have drug policy reform without suppressing important health science. from @voltefacehub – A new cannabis study by The Lancet reveals that using high potency cannabis has a strong association with development of psychosis, stating that people who use high potency cannabis on a daily basis were five times more likely to have psychosis. Cannabis being sold on the streets of many EU towns & cities is of high potency variety, with cannabis sold in London being very strong. Without a regulated market where we can control the potency of cannabis, the risk of users developing psychosis increases. This study is evidence of why a legally regulated cannabis market is so important: ✔️ People would know what they’re buying as products would be labelled with its THC levels ✔️Potency can be regulated through graduated taxation ✔️Labels can give safety info and advice Potent cannabis increases risk of serious mental illness, says study
